Cable on my laptop is well and truly buggered. Have a new one on order but can smell the burning coming off the current one and am at constant threat of electrocution from existing one but being a hardcore Petforumer i am risking it :D If i aint on tomorrow you know why :p

Try some masking tape or similar to hold it for now. Arnie chewed through mine when he was a baby and I managed to hold it together for a while with that. ;)

I've got a spare power cable and transformer bit if you want one while your other is delivered. PM me tonight or before 9.30 in the morning if you can - off to Burwell in the morning so could drop it off on the way.

Pretty sure they're all about the same.....!

    Very kinky

In a similar situation I've got a helpful hubby who usually pipes up "Don't worry, you're well insured ;)" I ran the gauntlet with my old dyson for years on that theory

Hope you haven't gone zap, very painful way to get a frizzy perm
