    I think that's fabulous.

My 13yr old daughter has a hard time boiling water (and complains too!). I'd like to get her into a cooking course this summer. My 8yr old son OTOH would love to be allowed to cook, but I'm afraid he'd burn the house down. He makes his own toast and will happily flip pancakes or a grilled cheese though.

It was a bit of a downer, really- I was engaged to a chef and it's just an incredibly punishing vocation- but the thread was really nice and positive so I deleted it, it read a bit macabre, really

Hehe you could have a famous chef in the making there! It's so sweet how he's found his passion so early! He's going to be an amazing husband to some lucky lady one day!

On BBC Iplayer, Raymond Blanc has a show and in one of them, he teaches you how to make the choux pastry (profiteroles) from scratch, and the filling and topping too. :)

    wow they look great :)

I am sure he will achieve his dream! Are there any colleges near by that do catering courses? I know he's still young but it's always good to look and keep these things in mind - you can also do plenty of research to check it's a good course with good pass rates & success stories

You deserve to be proud of your little Jamie Oliver!
