I haven't posted in the forum in ages, i've been reading tho.
This morning I got up to find that my boy(Simba) was in a bad way. I didnt actually realise anything was wrong with him until I got the food out and he was not interested in getting over to it, his back legs are hurt as he cried loudly when he tried to get up. I think he has other injuries too  Took him to my local vet and they sent us straight to the main hospital unit of theirs, they have admitted him for x-rays etc. I have been told that he may need to be put to sleep if there is any internal injuries. They will call at 5pm with the news.....i'm on tenderhooks waiting till then, I just hope he os going to be ok

Just thinking....I also have a girl, she is his mum and she is acting weird today, she has just gone & sniffed all his bed and got in it, do you think she senses something is wrong?

Yeah i think they can sense things

Last year my cat was all wobbly and couldnt stand. I thought she had been hit by a car. I scooped her up and as Mum was calling the vet i was sat on my bed with her.

We took her to vet and they said she had a stroke. They saif to leave her there or take her home and she is alive in the morning she will be ok.

When we got home i put her in her bed and all the other cats came and laid around her which i have never seen them do. I think they could tell she was poorly and wanted to be with her

maybe it was hit by bike rather than car..i think most cats will die on the spot if they are hit by car.. i hope the cat would be well soon. >.<

Thanks everyone for your kind words xx
The vet called and Simba has a fractured hip which is going to need a big operation also the are still concerned that he has internal bleeding so they are observing him for a few days and giving him pain relief. Once he is stable they will operate.

Well I have been thinking that myself, there is no outer injuries either, only noticable thing is that his claws are ragged.
I've even been thinking that some heartless so & so has kicked him or hit him with something with such a force.
I supose it is something i'll never know, only wish I did

Ragged claws are a classic sign of an RTA. They instinctively put their claws out and the claws get damaged on the road surface.

So sorry to hear about Simba, sending loads of positive vibes your way. Patch's claws were all ragged when he got clipped (lucky boy had no other injuries barring a bruise) - you'll have to keep an eye on Simba's when he comes home to check for infections.

    Hope the op goes well.

Awww :( poor little Simba. And poor you. I really hope the op goes well and he pulls through ok.
I do think his Mum knew, they must be able to sense it. I hope she senses he will soon be home and well.
