Sounds like your cat is not neutered. If he isn’t you should have him done as soon as possible, then keep him inside for two months as he can still impregnate a cat during that time.

    someone once said

If there are too many cats and they are a nuisance, and if the operation will not harm them, then there is nothing wrong with it, because this is better than killing them after they have been created. But if the cats are ordinary cats and are not causing a nuisance, perhaps it is better to leave them alone to reproduce.

my cat is ordinary tabby cat and i don't want to neuter him
but i need to know why he follows the black cat
i have only seen 3 cats in my area and nano (my cat)
    only seems interested in her

It is not better to leave them alone to reproduce. We have a chronic cat problem worldwide, there are too many cats and not enough homes.

Cats don't need to mate, they don't want to mate, and leaving them unneutered puts their health at risk. They are at much higher risk of cancers, sexually transmitted diseases, abcesses and injuries due to fighting, getting lost due to roaming in search of a mate. He is probably following her so that he can mate her.

Please do the responsible thing and neuter.

my cat has never fought with another cat and i think my dad wouldn't want the cat
neutered because we are Muslim and they aren't nuisances , Muslims respect cats
and i just wanted to know why the cats hang out with each other

There are already to many unwanted kittens out there and it makes your cat territorial. I agree with @Rufus15 here.

Maybe the others are male cats. If you leave your cat entire he will disappear when he goes off looking for a mate. You will lose him, or he will get hurt fighting. How old is he?

Your cat will be following the girl cat as its his instinct to try to mate with her - he's waiting for her to come into heat. As she's not become pregnant maybe she is neutered or is sterile.

Have you ever looked at rescue websites? If not, I strongly suggest you keep an eye on those sites and see how many unwanted, stray and feral cats are already out there, suffering, before making such selfish decisions about allowing mindless reproduction. If your cat is following females around, how many has he got pregnant already? How many of those survived birth? How many were wanted? Moral implications aside, if your cat has impregnated females, how do you know the owners of the females can afford to raise a litter of kittens, get them chipped, vaccinated, etc? Many of us work or volunteer at rescues and see first hand the damage done by careless and ill informed owners.

The implication being that non-Muslims don't respect cats? Wow.

You'll find that the majority of us on this forum respect our cats, and our cats' health, which is why we neuter them (unless they're in a registered breeding programme).

As your cat roams, you have no idea if he has fought with another cat.

    Be responsible. Get him neutered.

That's right: most people get their cats neutered because they respect them.

Uncontrolled breeding causes mass colonies of feral cats. This is a massive problem in parts of the world such as Greece, Turkey, Russia etc. Have you seen "Cat island" in Japan? Thousands of inbred cats who are riddled with curable diseases. Idiot tourists go there every year thinking it's ''so cute'' but it really isn't.

You think nueturing is unnatural? Having colonies of wild cats in your country is unnatural. They are pets in 99% of the world and therefore should be subject to population control. The goal is that every cat should have a home.

I don't think it is a piss take. The OP has removed their post. They don't like the responses. Unfortunately there are people in this world who do believe that nueturing is unnatural.

I can't see the original post, but from the other posts I can only assume its a joke or they have special needs. I do not mean to be offensive but its difficult to put it any other way
