There have been several members on here who have said that their Maine Coons grew their winter coats in the summer and lost them in the winter. I can't remember who right now, sorry.

My Yogi has his winter coat in summer, and his summer coat in winter. A Maine Coon breeder told me it was reverse coat syndrome. He still does it now and he’s 10 years old.
