I am so worried about her. While I was grooming her today she jumped off the table. Something she has never done before.

Later this afternoon she was limping and couldn't put one of her back legs down.
I phoned the vet and they said bring her in.
After examing her they suspect a cruciate ligament injury, and have kept her in to give her pain relief through the night and then exrays in the morning.

I am devastated, can't believe it, and just hated having to leave her there. She is not a young dog and has arthritis in her back leg. Not sure what to expect if she has to have this op. I feel terrible, I am just praying that the exrays show it's just her arthritis.

Sorry to hear about Honey. Can you remind me what breed she is/her size? If it does turn out to be a cruciate injury there are plenty of us on here with experience of the various operations so shout if you need any advice.

I know the feeling well. Missy ruptured her cruciate ligament on her 13th birthday and a week later was having surgery to repair it.

Sending lots of good vibes yours & Honey's way.

Thankyou everyone.x I have just rang, they said she has had a very strong pain killer and is quiet.
They will ring me in the morning about sevenish.

Don't know what to do with myself, its the first time she's not been here at night since we had her 7 yrs ago.
She is a wheaton terrier of medium size RPH.Thanks I will definately be asking for advice if it is that, Ive never had that in all the years Ive had dogs.

I'm just praying that it's just something that will just need rest, or an arthirtis flare up after her jumping of the table.
