    hi,
this morning i noticed that my basset evie was limping. She is around 8 months old. Sometimes she does jump from the couch and we try to stop her as much as we can, thats why we purchased some dog steps for her to use but she'll only use them climbing on to the couch.

She walks on the leg itselfs but the weight she puts on it is very limited and she is a very heavy dog.

When i move it or touch the leg she doesnt moan, groan or yelp.

Could it be that maybe she just landed funny when she came off the couch?

It's impossible to say without seeing her, but I would rest her for a few days and if she is still limping get her checked by a vet
