My badger

    Havent seen the second one again :(

    These are some older pics of my regular visitor. Poor quality i know, but i had managed to open the front door and stand outside with him without him runnig off.

    You are really lucky.:D The only time I have seen badgers was when I was camping at Offas Dyke. Two young badgers were play fighting and rolled down the bank in front of me. They looked beautiful :)

    I have quite a few, its just a matter of finding them, as i dont file anything :eek:

    Got to trawl through about 5000 pics.

    I took these through the little window in my downstairs loo. Have to stand on the seat to do it.

    Ahh there great...Beautiful anaimals, i see him/her enjoying the food you put down for them! :eek::eek:..Now standing on the toilet set and taking pictures did make me laugh! :p

    He was very shy at this stage. The slightest noise and he would run off and not come back again that night.

    Now i can open the front door and step outside with him. If he does get spooked, he just goes down the side of my house which is a footpath, and waits until the coast is clear.

    He started coming because we feed birds on the lawn. He was coming for the seed, and would spend ages licking up all the seed. Now he gets dried dog food, peanut butter sarnies, peanuts, sunflower seeds, custard creams, and the oddbit of leftovers, depending on what it is. We did check with our local badger society before feeding him.

    Lucky you to be able to get so close to them, I love badgers, unfortunatley the ones we see around here are usually road kills:(

    wow lucky you.

    the only badger ive seen was the one my ex hit with his car, it was horrible. :( poor wee guy, he wasnt dead. we phoned the sspca to come get him and they took 2hours to come. but i didnt wanna leave him. i'm so glad i wasnt the one driving. i bet terrible enough as it was. in the end he was pts. :(
