my left arm just wont come back to life!!
it slowly felt like i was gettin pinns and needles, which didnt really progress to much, and for the past hour i can feel mild pinns and needles and its also slightly dead!

If i gently rup a finger down the understand of my arm towards my hand, my hand tingles. Ive tried massaging it and all sorts, what the hell is wrong with it??

my back is also starting to hurt me now too :( (ive always had a bad back though)

Ring new doc, you can then talk to a doc on the phone, if they think they need to they will see you tonight.

I've heard of something like that and it was something to do with ribs.

I'm not saying it is, but this was called cervical rib and this woman's symptoms was the same as yours.

Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you :( How long has it felt dead?
Have you done anything to it?
Or has it just come on randomly?

it was rather random, ive tried putting my hand and arm in cold water as i know that helps with pins and needles, but no help at all.

im trying to think of things it could be
like trapped nerve in my back, ive deffo not over used my arm, ive not done anything today, if i move my wrist too fast it does hurt.

I stood and tried arm circles like the exercise, and my shoulder cracked every time. maybe im broken.

I've just been searching on the net and the most answers is that it is likely to be a trapped nerve.

Vickie hun - I think you ought to phone NHS Direct and tell them about the pain under your ribs, the pain in your back, and the fact that your arm is dead/tingly with pins and needles. It's better to be on the safe side.

I don't wish to alarm you but I really think that you should contact a doctor.
I doubt if it is but this can be linked to heart or brain problems.

I agree with everyone, seeing as you've had the pain for so long, I would definately contact a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Definitely ring your doctor. Pins and needles was always the first sign when my mother was about to have a stroke.
