This orchid was reduced to £3 all the flowers fell off it within a day of me buying it, now look 28 flower heads and it keeps putting out more

Wow you must have green fingers. They always look really delicate to me and I would love one but I'm sure I would kill it. Whats your secret to helping them thrive?

The flowers last for months, once they drop of i cut the stems back to the last good bit and the they sprout right back. I think as long as you have some leaves left the send up new flower stems.

Well i think it's just a warm place that doesn't ever get really cold, in the sun and DON'T over water.

They are lovely! I wish I could have houseplants. I've given up having any at all because the cats always eat them and they end up looking very tatty in no time - and the cats sick up the leaf bits in little frothy patches of sick hmmmm lovely!

   these are the only plants i have managed to keep alive and it's honestly through neglect

They are much better than a cheap bunch of flowers that die in less than a week. Orchids are cheapish at most supermarkets ;)

The one that i've had for 5 years has been cut back to just leaves before, leave it in a warm sunny spot it should send up new stems :)
