    Mum phoned me tonight panicking that her tv wont work, so we drive 6 miles to sort it out, get there and I said why isnt this switch turned on, err which switch she said, mmm the one where its plugged in, she only forgot to switch the plug in the socket on!!!, bless her she couldnt apologise enough.... mums eh:confused:

    Lmao, thats a typical mum for you, my mum thought i had hidden her glasses, but were on her head!

    I can never find my glasses either! usually they are in Ted!!! he likes to eat anything thats mine:(

    Sounds like my grandma, but she's getting a lot more technical, she bought a laptop the other week and can actually manage to turn it on, but she never shuts to lid because she says she doesn't know how to open it again...:eek:ut:

    my mum watches films with me

    asks me whats going on

    then a bit later i say do u understand it

    "yeah"

    whats going on then?

    well they went camping and one got lost and hes her boyfriend and shes pregnant

    "mum, its the blair witch project... hes not her boyfriend and shes not pregnant... one is dead, not missing"


    she tends to make up her own stories...

    Bless her - bet she felt a bit silly. But then I do things like that now :rolleyes:

    Had to go around the in-laws last week because they couldn't get the internet to work. Father -in - law hadn't turned the wireless on, on the laptop

    even though im only 24, ive already learnt that if anyone rings me with a problem, i ask them to check its plugged in AND turned on...and to follow the cable. (not that my family is full of simpletons)! lol

    It's not just mums lol. My dad bought his laptyop round here to see if he could pick the internet up he couldn't. 2weeks later he came back and said he hadn't switched the internet switch on pmsl.
