We spend ages choosing toys for our dogs, and then they go and find their own for nothing....My 2 are currently playing with a 'blade of grass' between them, tossing it up in the air and trying to pull it out of each others mouths.....dogs

What silly or funny things do your dogs play with?

Cardboard boxes, toilet rolls tubes, clumps of mud, pieces of kibble, each others legs.... May as well just not buy toys anymore :p

I thought this was going to be about the most unusual toys on the market, in which case.... *cough cough*

Danny's most favourite toy is...training discs .
This is a little video of him with them.

As soon as he gets them, he normally sprints out to the garden and starts leaping around and flinging them around out there.
He's a bit on the eccentric side.

Inca adores socks and builds up a little pile at the top of the stairs. No socks are safe in this household - she doesn't chew them though, only carries them around - I end up losing so many socks

    Pixie has a glove.

It used to be my glove, it also used to be part of a set.

I am not allowed to remove the glove under danger of huge sad eyes.

My 2 like baler twine and crab apples :D I use the ball thrower to throw the crap apples, we have a huge tree with tons of apples on at mt horse field, keeps the spaniel entertained :D

Also any sheepskin I have lying around they love. They have a few new toys today made from spare bits of vetbed which they are loving.

Her own tail is one of her absolute favourites :p

Other than that it's just cardboard usually.. she used to wait until it was given to her but she's started sneaking toilet roll tubes out of the recycling lately!

Well Alfie's most prized toys are his dressing gown cords!!!

He got hold of an old one when he was a puppy and that was it, he was hooked. He has five now, two he brings in from one room to the other everyday. He also loves to run around the room with it in his mouth and dragging while he chases a ball.

It's a strange 'toy', but to him there is no substitute.

Another sock player here! They don't get chewed just flung about and sometimes it works in my favour (if i accidentally drop one en route to or from the machine!)

My husband- he is the most unusual toy, in that he tries his best to act like a big old monster dog and playfight with him, luckily I'm on hand to teach him that we are humans and that he's the only dog in the house :D

My sisters Staffy loves anything she can get her mouth on. Knickers, toilet rolls, kids tunnels, brooms, socks, shoes. To name just a few.

She seems to of brought out Holly's naughty side because I caught them playing tug with the kids tunnel, which they ripped to pieces. I have a video. And they also play tug with brooms.

Its not one of his toys but a Zippy draught excluder (as in Zippy from Rainbow) his head at one end and the rest is a normal looking draught excluder in his body colour .... Monty loves him to bits and carries him around the house, flinging him about and shaking it.

I have to take it off him cos he would chew it to bits he's already chewed his tongue off have to keep the mouth zipped now

Toby goes into the washing machine and gets the dosing ball to play football with. Flings it around to his hearts content and then barks at it a lot!! :) :)
