Following on from my post yesterday I'm looking for advice to help see us through Temperance's cage rest.

We were originally told 6-12 weeks. After her X-ray yesterday it is now going to be another 3 months cage rest then a further 6 months only allowed out of cage on a harness and lead.

I'm very concerned about what this is going to do to her mentally cooped up for that long can't be good for her at all. 10 months is an awfully long time to be restricted so heavily.

I was hoping we'd be told she could come out of the cage soon so I'm really upset by this huge set back.

It's also having a knock on effect on family life as our only living space is hugely restricted which is hard for the children to cope with on a long term basis.
