I posted a while ago about Sasha, the chocolate Lab pup, who is coming round for socialisation with my two girls. She visited again today, and was a bit boisterous, but seemed to learn a few more manners by the end, anyway, here's the pics....

We've not long said goodbye to Gail, with Sasha, the lovely chococlate Lab pup, who has been keeping the numpty girls on their toes this afternoon!

This time, Auntie Iddie took a day off, and Tau stepped in to provide the role of mentor.

So, here we have Sasha, introducing herself to Tau, rather enthusiastically....

Tau's response, is to try and convince Sasha she's as mad as a bag of badgers, and it might be catching 8O
    [IMG]

Judging by Sasha's eyes, it might just be catching!

    There follows a stand off......

And Tau decides to lie down, is this an unwise move??

Sasha looks to be getting the better of her, decides to come for a big run up, and.....

Tau throws in an unexpected manouevre and squishes the puppy!

    Ha, that got ya!

So, what is it we're looking for Aunty Tau? I'm not sure, but it rhymes with cat! 8O
    [IMG]

And where was Auntie Iddie I hear you ask, she decided it was her day off, and was either lying in the shade....

Or having a tummy rub and grinning like a loon

The girls had a lovely time, Sasha was put in her place firmly by the girls a few times for overstepping the boundaries of politeness, and seemed to learn from the experience. They were all thoroughly pooped at the end, and I think Gail's in for a quiet night with a glass of vino  :D :D

Great pics, I love Iddie's grin!

I bet Sasha will grow up to have great doggy manners thanks to her Aunties!

I LOVE Iddie's daft grin too, she really is a lovely character, I feel very lucky to have her.

And yes, Sasha is learning, her owner was quite surprised with the vocals my two gave, it was all mouth and no trousers, basically the equivalent of what Sasha's mum would have done if she'd overstepped the boundaries. When Sasha tried to get them to play a bit later, she was much more polite about it, and if she was ignored, she took herself off to play with something else for a while. Good puppy socialisation is soooo important, and it's nice to be able to help out, plus it's great looking at the cute puppy pics afterwards.

Looks like they had great fun and Sash is going to be one good mannered puppy. Its a shame so many people don't bother socialising their pups properly.

I have to start socialising Willow with my lot yet but he is so tiny at the moment. He has met them when they have been in their cartes and this morning I was holding him when the others went into the garden and they all said hello. Just got to start putting him on the floor with them but at the moment they are still a bit rowdy and excited about the fact we are home after leaving them for 5 days.

Haha I love Sasha's pot belly she's just so darn cute :p

If you ever did breed from Tau (she's the one with perfecto hips and elbows isn't she?) I don't know how you could ever sell the pups! There is something about choccie lab babies that is just indescribable! We've got the odd photo of our old one they are seriously cute!

Mind you I wouldn't mind Indie or Tau either, just as well you aren't in Lincolnshire or they might go missing

Yay, Sasha again. Look at Tau's colour compared to Sasha's or Indie's, very milky chocolate. I love it,

She has got a pot belly hasn't she, I'm sure she's due an upward growth spurt any time now!

No to breeding from Tau, and I need to get her bva eye cert in place before I go ahead, also, because her sire's pra results aren't on the KC database, I'm going to have her tested as cbp, so that the results will be sent to the KC and any pups will have the status on their kc registration.

If you ever want to borrow them, just shout, off to look for parcel tape and bubble wrap....... :D :D :D
