Many forums limit the size of sigs: why does this one not do so? I've just had to hide signatures because one user's sig takes up a whole screen, it's ridiculous!

This topic comes up a lot.
I agree with you. Some sigs are huge.

I like seeing most of them :) - but some of them I think the member is posting pictures then I realise it's a large signature
I did have them turned off - but I missed them and my broadband is fast so it doesn't slow down loading the page but the scrolling down is getting frustrating so I may have to turn them off again :(

Hit the space bar - it jumps down the page, quicker than scrolling :)

I never bothered with pics, except the one I have. I agree some sigs are too large.

I have had them turned off since I joined as my broadband is incredibly slow and some sigs are beyond ridiculous, and when you get a simple one line response to a thread but the sig takes up your screen it's madness :incazzato: I also get annoyed when people refer to someones sig because then curiosity gets the better of I have to go have a nosy and turn the sigs back on just so I can see what they are on about and then I get all outraged again about the size of some

however, when i toddled off to hide signatures i couldnt work out how to do it, even tho i was pointed to the Edit Profile section.
so, signature sizes are still on my list of things that get to me.

Click on Edit Profile, then click on Edit Options in the menu on the left scroll down and and in the box of Thread Display Option un-tick the Show Signature option and scroll to the bottom and save changes :D

I think there's a limit on how many images you can use but not on the size.

I know mine's big but I get PM's all the time saying how lovely my sig is.:001_wub:
