Hi, my cat has come home with a cut on her neck. It doesnt look like its from a fight, more like she has grazed it on a wall or something. it is only on the surface but a small patch of fur has come off and the skin is exposed. it is a small patch and not deep . im not sure wether to go to the vets as im sure he will just tell us to let it heal (there is definately no need for stiches), but i dont want it to get infected. im wondering if i should clean it gently with some salty water. it doesnt seem to be bothering her (we are keeping her in for the time being) and its looks clean. What do you recommend?
