millie was spayed today and now she home safe.. she is feeling sorry for herself (dont blame her i would too).. she is shaking and whimpering poor little thing, feel guilty now for putting her through it, but know she will feel better in a day or two, she has to go get stitches checked on friday, she is curled up on daughters bed cuddled into her favourite blanket...

Indy was spayed a few weeks back - they managed to glue her though instead of stitches.

Her first 24hrs were a little sad, the lights were on but she was definately not in!!! She really struggled with the buster collar on her, so we took it off when she was supervised - she didn't even try to lick it. First day after the op she had a 5 min walk, first week she was on 10-15min walks twice a day. She didn't poop for about 24hours afterwards.

3 weeks down the line her wound has a tiny little scab on part of it, and the wound is still raised. She hasn't managed to grow much hair back either :(

Hope her recovery goes well - if she's anything like Indy she'll be 100% normal in 48hrs!

Amber was the same, we spent the next week or so trying to stop her running around and jumping up and down in case her split her stitches.

Give her a bug cuddle for me
