All of ours are now chipped as when they have their health tests they now read the chip before carrying out the tests

As for problems we havent had any at all, some done at a very young age and some done when quite a bit older

Hi all

I have a Border terreie, she is 12 month`s old, had her microchipped last Saturday, by Sunday morning she was rushed to hospital, with severe siezures (fit`s) she`d had a bad reaction to the microchipping.

My dogs are both chipped, no side effects.

Absolutely worth it, my cousins dog was let out when her house was burgled, thanks to the chip he was back within 24 hours.
