what do i miss, hmmm good one

I miss the music from the 80's i have so many memories of when i was young sitting in my room with my really cool record player listening to Now Thats What I Call Music 1 :)

i miss the open fire we had in my mums house and my grandma's home made soup on winter days,

I do agree with you some kids of today are ickle buggers, i know i am very strict with my children, but my husband also complains and often reminds me its differant nowdays! although that does not stop me grounding them for a month :D

my partners the same,he is like "well it's diffrent now",my reply to him,"so manners don't exist?"lolol, but u r right you have to be strict otherwise u would have kids with asbos!,or running round doin god knows what!!,i miss open fires as well, winters were colder wen i was younger as well,i also miss proper footy fans!!
ya know wen streets were empty, because fa cup final was on the box!!
to quote david badiel "before money ruined the beautiful game",also before we became so "pc" not allowed to say merry christmas" not to mention a million other things you can and cannot say,or wear!! i am surprised the government don't tax us for going to the loo,or we don't get fined for saying an obsenity when occasion calls!! lolol, frgot how bout tv programmes any1 used to watch, instead of allthis reality rubbish lol, like citizen smith=power to the people,(so fella tells me),good old fashioned humour!!

That's what I miss manners, people used to say please and thank you and consider what effect their actions might have on others, and of course an open fire and deep snow preventing me from going to school. JAMBOREE BAGS!! I bet no one is old enough to remember those costing 3d three old pennies to the younger generation.

WHAM BARS, hmmm, dont remember them. the only WHAM i remember is GEORGE MICHAEL, hee hee hee, i miss playing out, when i was a kid we used to make go carts, ( outa old pram wheels and bits of wood,) and all the kids in the street used to have a race, as we lived on a hill ,this was great fun, we had carpet nailed to our go cart so it was more comfy, and rope to steer the front wheels, we had lots of crashes, wheels flying off half way down the hill, but it was fun, we used to play run outs to, again all the kids in the street, kids just seem to sit and play computers, playstations or watch telly now, BRING BACK THE OLD DAYS, :):)

I'm only 28 and I cringe at myself sounding older and older by the day but I cant believe the youth of today!!! It's all PS3's, knives and guns - I remember the days when If we wanted to entertain ourselves we would play a big game of bulldog, or football in the outdoors and if we wanted to hurt someone we would have to use our fists - we never had such luxuarys as knives and guns to do the job!!! - just kidding - sorry bad taste I know!
