    They are Chinese dwarfs from what I can see :)

    ETA - Ok seen enlarged pic, definitely Chinese

    Although the cage was totally filthy (ewww) they have been handled really well and are not afraid to be stroked!

    One of them has decided the house move and the deep clean is too much and has gone back to bed..the other is a nosy little begger :laugh:

    They bloody well wanna be! I havent held them yet im letting them settle in first.

    Im looking for another cage to separate them im hoping to get one asap.

    They are defiantly Chinese hamsters.

    You don't need to separate them as Chinese hamsters are social, they are happier living together.

    I have had Chinese hamsters and it is fun watching them be together.

    It is easy to tell without holding them as males have a massive 'male bit' at their back end.

    Hope this helps.

    But yes, I am sure if you can not see any prominent 'maleness' at the back end, you have females.
