Home at last, Max is settling in nicely. He was quite frightened yesterday, but still explored the downstairs pretty thoroughly. He wasn't keen on being touched or stroked, so we left him alone as best we could.

Overnight we could hear him crying and scratching at the door :(- we'd shut him in his room for the night for his own safety, but he wanted to come out! But eventually he quietened down and went to sleep, and so did we.

This morning, he is a thousand times better than yesterday! He's still getting used to us and the house, but has been running around, jumping and playing (not with the toys and balls we've bought him, but with a plastic comb and a length of cable tidy left over from cat proofing the place ). Still a little bit nervous of us, but lets us have a good stroke when he's relaxed enough, and when he's really relaxed, we can even pick him up for a few seconds :D. Don't want to rush things, so putting him down before he's "ready" to be let down. Just taking things one baby kitten step at a time to get him used to us!

Here are a few pics of him today and yesterday, including my favourite - sleeping! He's turning into a boisterous little boy, and right now we're watching him constantly if he's out of his room, so it's nice to have him sleeping :p

Hoping that with each day it will get better and better!

More pics to follow soon :)
