If she is good with her first litter and them she goes on to have a second will her maternal instincts get better with more litters, could she be good with the first and then go on to not do so well?
Each litter is very different, but the majority get better with each litter. However a bad mum the first time is highly likely to be a bad mum all of her breeding career.
id say if everything went smoothly she'd be just as good but theres no guarantee on that and any way i'd hope that most good breeders wouldnt breed a bitch anymore than once or at a push twice, to find out.
