Looking to get a marine tank and was told water needs changing every three weeks. I was told to buy at the aquatic shop. Can anyone tell me how much this water is? I didn't think to ask. Thank you.

Water changing will depend on size of the tank and stocking level within. I would think three weeks s quite a time to leave it before a water change, especially in marine tanks. Depending on how well stocked you are, i would change 30-50% of the water every 1-2 weeks. When i had a marine tank, i was changing 30% weekly.

As for the price, that really depends on the shop. It is HIGHLY recommended you use RO water in a marine tank. I would imagine anywhere from £1-5 for a 50L tub would be about average, but it will depend on the shop.
