    I think I have gout in my foot , it's mega sore, anyone on here suffer with it. Is it more than uncomfortable to walk on!!

    my nan has gout in her hands, she's just got out of hospital having been hospitalised for two weeks with a massive flare up

    It can be quite serious, I'd get it checked out if i were you

    Yes, me. In my big toe & foot sometimes & yes, it is very painfull. I am usually lucky & it goes in a few days, but some aren't so lucky, so if it persists go to your GP.

    So what am I looking for, this hurts when I bend my foot, there's no swelling but it throbs, it's also uncomfortable with weight on it..

    Mine doesn't swell either & it throbbed. I had it mildly, but it can be a sign it'll be worse another time. As I said, go to your GP & get a proper diagnosis, it might not be gout.

    I will go to the GP but during half term. I haven't got time at the moment, I work in a school. Yes I am being silly leaving it but I must admit I am beginning to get a bit concerned... It's not life threatening though is it..
    I don't eat a lot of Rich food or drink red wine but it's tickled me that I think I have gout ..

    I don't think it can be gout then, it's sore like a deep bruise or broken foot. Or what I call flu skin , you know hurt to touch! But I can walk on it, it's just very very uncomfortable

    I've known 3 people with this. It's quite common and very painful in the early stages

    Have look PF up the pain isn't in my heel, it's across the top of my toe knuckles
