Anyone else having one? It's on Friday 27 September.

I'm so excited :D I've started organising our work one already..hoping to smash last years total..plus work match it £ for £

We are having a raffle that has already raised £170 in three days!! Which is amazing.

Three people I know have terminal cancer and it really brings it home as one of them has no family to help them, so the support that Macmillan give is so important..

Really hoping to raise £4000 this year with matched funding..

Wow, that's impressive raising that much in such a short space of time.

I hope you exceed your target for such a worthwhile cause :D

10 days to go!! I have been buying tombolla gifts today, we have so far 180 things for the tombolla :eek: think we will need an extra table!

Should have loads of cakes to sell as well. The only thing we can't seem to organise is the coffee..:mad2: but we may have to improvise on that ;)

So far the raffle now has raised over £600!!

    Am well chuffed..

Anyone else doing a coffee morning?

hi nicola , maybe a local cafe could lend you a big hot water urn for making the coffee, better than a kettel, mind you if ita on a week day they probably using it, hat about approaching a catering suppliers, they get free advertising help a good cause , they could loan you something for the day and then sell it on as shop display /used for demo at a reduced cost ?

sorry about your friend, no more pain , so young

well free coffee vouchers, thats something, what day is it on? i would try smaller estabishments if its a sunday they would be closed and not using?
a kettle is ok ,but urn is better, be very careful with leads, and serving very hot drinks, you probably know all this already but i would feel bad if i dint mention, im so health and safely concious:eek:

Don't worry health and safety regs will be observed :D

It's on Friday 27th September. Tried smaller one person :D bands, but nothing :mad2:

I'm back at work Thursday (2 and half weeks off :D) so will try and sort it.

Also hopefully will have the tombolla tickets folded if Riley can get out the bag I'm putting them in!

Apparently the tickets belong to him  if he wants to play, eat or sleep on them it's his prerogative

It's also not helping my OCD as they aren't folding all the same!! :mad2:

    Major brain freeze!

I'm doing the tombolla tickets. There are 180 prizes and would like it to be a one in four chance of winning..

Trying to work out how many tickets I need to fold, my first calculation was 540 then 720 the 1800

Now I'm just confused..any help please?

dont worry too much , i find the more relaxed i am the ideas float in ,if you havent come up with a good enough plan for the coffee then maybe the kind excutives can suggest or offer some help with that side of things, just a thought but if you dont ask you dont get as they say , they will probably think you very enterprising to do so as well:)
