Lol its ok, i didnt know until about six months ago lol. He broke his back in three places whilst parachuting, after fightinghis way back from recovery he then two years later entered the Guiness book ofrecords as teh youngest Briton to climb MOunt Everest aged 23, he has since leg ground - breaking expeditions across the world, as seen on tv although i cant watch him cos he eats bugs and stuff ewwwwwwwww. lol.

Oh you lucky thing!!! Enjoy your day, look forward to seeing the photos.

I can't watch him cos of the bugs and stuff he eats, but my son and hubby are big fans and think he is wonderful cos of all the dangerous stuff he does

I'd read that he had a big accident climbing an unnamed mountain and had to be airlifted out to hospital, didn't realise it was his back. I watched him going up Everest in a motorised parachute thingie, very scary. He's a very brave boy, if I was his mum I'd be a bag of nerves though :blushing:

I prefer Ray Mears. Grylls annoys me no end.

I think its because his show is very fake and staged. Everything is done for the cameras. I see no need to kill animals purely for entertainment.

Mears also shows how many cultures/tribes survive. I prefer his calmer demeanor.
