Hi so my dog has this lump on her leg that has progressively gotten bigger and when touched my dog freaks a little and is clearly causing discomfort. Had to cover it to stop her getting at it. I have arranged a vet appointment but my vet isnt brilliant and have a waiting time, despite the fact I told them I was concerned. Does anyone have a idea of what this could be?

I second what @JoanneF says- find another vet who can see her sooner.

Only a vet can give you an accurate diagnosis & propose the right treatment.

I would want that seeing to sooner rather than later, can you go to another vet, I know my vets will try and squeeze you in if you feel your dog needs to be seen that day.

Just get an appointment with a vet, any vet, who will see her quickly. That's nasty!
