Lucy is a female greyhound who is now 20 months old. She has a lovely black coat that is going to be very sleek and shiny once she puts on a bit more condition.

Lucy is a very friendly little girl and is a real character. She is young and still puppyish at heart with quite a bit of energy to burn. We think she would make a fantastic play mate for another dog of a similar age, and once she learns what toys are all about, she's going to be in 7th heaven!

Lovely Lucy has not yet experienced the joys of a home environment, so new owners will need to be understanding for the first couple of weeks and allow her to settle in. She has not yet been tested with smaller dogs or cats, but these can be carried out prior to adoption if needed.

Lucy is currently in kennels in Ireland, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Lucy, please email me on [email protected] for our information pack and adoption questionnaire. Thanks!

Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 50 greyhounds at any one time, in both Ireland and the UK.

Each dog is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. We work hard to match the right hound to the right home, and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

We can be contacted via PM or through any of the following:
