My garden really needed it
It smells all fresh and is looking good
Yep, we had a reasonable amount overnight too
We had rain, but we had more high winds than anything else, my weeping willow tree was blown over 7 times until I tied it to the fence for a while, and more poor Stocks and Holly Hocks are all bent But at least the rain saved me going out in the morning and watering them.
Yeah, the rain was good.....
Only it's our neighbours 'turn' to mow the lawn... been their turn for about 4 weeks now and with all the rain our lawns (front) are now like a jungle!!!!
Think I'll have to get the strimmer out this weekend and get it done!
Its raining hard here, but i dont mind the garden need it.I just hope its dry enough by the morning to get the lawn cut.
Did all those little plants survive the hot weather?
Yeah they are coming along nicely thanks rona.I can't wait to see them all in bloom. This year is the best our orange blossm bush has ever been, loads of flowers and smells divine.
Bet you were out there a lot with the hose
i dont think we got rain over night. It didnt rain at all yesterday, but my mum bought me a fusia to see if i can keep that alive....i potted it last night and put it outside, but i didnt dare water it incase it rained, but it was dry this morning so i watered it, and its buds are opening!!
it will be dead by next year no doubt though....i kill all plants by trying to look after them
lol not me but hubby....
"Orange blossom" MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm oh the smell is wonderful. OH killed mine.........
