I took my dog's loyalty and love for granted. He was he cutest Yorkie and he was to turn 1 years old in a month. He was extremely affectionate. He would get anxiety if I left the room for even two minutes. I loved him dearly, but I would always joke and say to him "Leonard, I just left the room for a minute why are you such a suck." He would love me like he hadn't seen me in years, the most loyal dog I have ever had. Yesterday I had come home from work. I asked my brother where my dog was, and he forgot to let him back in the house. We went to the backyard and he escaped. We frantically searched for him from 8-10pm. A couple of hours later, I came across a pet control officer and found out that they had found him. He was hit by a car and died. It is the worst feeling ever. Dogs are more loyal than any real friend I have and only a dog owner can ever understand this unconditonal bond. This is my first post and I don't mean to make it sad. I just want people to know that no matter how much you love your dog, to love it like its the last day or the last time you will see him/her again. RIP LEONARD you are missed dearly.
