Hi
I have 2 cats (brother & sister) & have recently been having a few problems with my little girl. She's 9 years old & had a bladder stone removed 2 years ago & has had cystitis on & off since then. We have her urine tested every couple of months to make sure she's doing ok & the last one came back fine & was the best the vet has seen for her in a long while. He's said there is no medical reason for her behaviour. In the last few weeks she has refused to use the litter trays. She will happily wee next to the trays just not in them. We have 3 trays in 2 locations & she will always wee in the same place. :confused5:

There's not been any changes to her enviroment & she is mostly an indoor cat.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can retrain her to use the litter trays?

Thanks

She might have cystitis, but not actually a UTI, which may be why your vet did not detect anything abnormal in the urine test. Is she taking Cystease or Cystaid?

What diet do you have her on? No dry food hopefully.:)
