litter tray for cat on crate rest 3 legged cat

    what litter tray would you recommend for my cat in recovery had her leg amputated on Tuesday and coming home soon as she will be on cage rest for a few weeks

    Take a look at what she is using at the vet and also you could ask them their advice.

    they just said a shallow tray

    I would imagine one of those cheap, shallow trays from the pet shop would suffice. How big will her cage be? x

    Could you get a bigger crate ? I found when my cat was on crate rest the litter tray took up most of the space and he would put his front paws in and miss the tray with his bum.She needs room to get right in the tray, turn round and then space for her bed.

    You might find a corner tray useful in a restricted space.
