Leo gecko not eating at all

    I have a leopard gecko he's not eaten anything in more than a month his tail is still quite fat but he when he saw his food he would usually lock his eyes onto it but it's like he just completely ignore what i feed him I've taken him to vets they didn't want to do an assessment on him incase he dropped his tail (he's quite nervous) please help :(

    Are you still having this problem? Just in case, I might be able to help. Good news is, this is most likely normal! Do you have a gram scale? If not, I think it's a worthy purchase! Monitor his weight. If he doesn't lose much weight, then he should be okay. Even if it's been a while since he's eaten. Sometimes leos stop eating during mating season (which I believe started a couple of months ago, my female leo is definitely ovulating right now) which is normal behavior and shouldn't harm the gecko as long as they aren't losing a lot of weight.
