    Hi all

We are toying with the idea of getting some ex battery hens. I had originally thought I would be able to let them have free reign of the garden during the day while I am at work but now I'm being told they are at risk of foxes even during the day. We planned to have the chicken house and coop on concrete - if they are stuck in the chicken coop while I am at work (I presume that's ok from foxes?), is this going to be ok?? Will I literally have to be in the garden with them if I want to let them have free reign? Can someone enlighten me please!? Lol.

    Thanks lots.
