Our Charlie can be so lazy with her back legs. She sometimes hangs out of her bed for a stretch and drags her back legs behind her before slowly picking herself up to walk properly. Its really funny to watch. Does any other Dachshund or other breed do this?

Sailor (staffyxrotti) does similar, sometimes I think he just cant be botheredd to get up.. other times its more like he is stretching his back legs or scratching his belly.

He will also sit with his back legs on the sofa bed and his front legs on the floor, in a weird sitting position his an odd dog at times

Yup, my Daxie cross does too! The stubbiness of their legs makes almost everything they do soooo much funnier then usual!!:thumbup:

Our setters do it too - they quite often climb half way off the sofa and don't even bother to drag their back legs off - they just stop half way.

My goldie does it getting out of the car, I swear she wants to live in the car!
