I have been a dog and cat Mom for a long time and have seen quite a few quirky behaviors. My little guy is just over a year and not only drowns toys in the water dish but often drags blankets (heavy ones at that) and pillows and large items and tries to put them in the water dish as well. He drags things clear across the house and he's only 11#. Has anyone else experienced this or have any insights into this interesting twist on a fairly normal kitten behavior?

Storm used to pull the throws off the sofas; took us ages to work out it was him and we kept blaming each other!

Cloud used to drag toilet roll bags around the house (along with socks and basically any item of my underwear )

    Certainly made life interesting!

Yep completely normal! Sam drowns his toys often and had been known to drag other things into the water dish such as blankets

I've no idea why cats drown their toys, all I know is that most cats do this. Occasionally I'll find a toy in the food dish too.

Yep, Bonnie does this! She has a few favourite toys that get to swim, she's dragged her blankets and other stuff in there too before. Not a clue why!
