    What are your opinions on the release of mink into the British countryside?

    They look like ferrets :)

    Absolutey irrisponsible - the amount of damage they cause to our natural wildlife is irreversable.

    terrible, i think theyre gorgeous animals but the American mink is disasterous news for our native wildlife, they should never have been bred here in the 1st place fur farming is barbaric.

    It's completely irresponsible they cause enough damage as it is without releasing them. But darling animal liberationists no animal can be captive. I don't like the fur trade but surely there are better ways of dealing with them.

    I couldnt agree more! We have two in at work and they are beautiful animals but also very nasty! :devil:

    The trouble is people think oh let's release the poor little thing's and don't think of the bigger picture:(. Abit like anti fox hunter's who put wire up across the path where they no the hunt will go It's the poor horse that get's killed not the ridder and they say they love animal's.:eek:ut: bomb's left under horse box's hound's fed with rat bait. Animal lover's i don't think so:eek:ut:

    That's just insane :eek:ut: I don't agree with fox hunting but surely that's not the right way to go about things.

    i bet they do a lot more damage than say a squirrel DD!:D my OH finger is better now just a little mark where the teeth went in:devil:

    They do lots of damage.They make awful screaming noises too its more like squealin!
    When i have to feed them or clean them out i chuck a few chicks in they love them and wont bother you, if they do i just chuck them another LOL
    They are 100% worse that aquirrels
    Aw im glad him finger is better bless him i know how much its hurts i wasnt left with a scar hope hes not :)

    Im not sure where they go since i have been there only one has been brought in and its still there in a massive pen! the other one was already there before me its called barney and its so nasty im scared of it haha
    The other one is called Ben!

    I think so these are the only two i have ever seen! and i think there there for ever one of them barney is very old!
