Me and my partner have fallen in love with our 8 week old kitten.
Whilst getting ready for bed we wondered where lana was.... no where to be seen.
I could hear her bell so after looking in the airing cupboard we saw a small hole at the back and realised she’d gone down it :(
She was quite happy sleepy down there (i took some images and i could see her) but after an hour and lots of bribes later i can no longer see her so i think shes gone down the floorboards :(
whats the best way to approach this, i feel sick with worry but i dont want to start ripping up every floor board as its a renting house.
    PLEASE HELP :(

    Poor baby :(
Have you put her food near where you think she has gone down? Something smelly like sardines or tuna may tempt her out.

Has she come out this morning?

A couple of things to add - she is too young to be away from mum and siblings, and the collar is unnecessary and dangerous so needs removing and disposing of

I hope she’s come out by now.

If not, I would remove some floorboards and create a ramp with one so she can climb back out.

    Use food to tempt her.

Oh lord this reminds me of Libby, I think I lay crooked on the floor for hours trying to get Libby out from under the floor boards.

I hope little one has come out at last. X

I think we had a similar event when having central heating installed ;)
