kitten eating litter

    why does my kitten try to eat the litter? HELP

    She is just testing the world out, tell her no and scrape her feet in it to let her know what it is for.

    For some reason they are attracted to clay litters. Never seen them try it with wood or paper based litters. I would worry if you are using a clumping litter and would change it immediately.

    Try worlds best cat litter. It is soft which is nice for kittens, its made from corn so totally biodegradable and you can flush it down the loo, and also means it is safe if they eat it. It clumps too. It is expensive but lasts a lot longer than other cat litter so is cheaper in the long run.
