I bought some scales and thought I would see how heavy my pair actually are..

Dave is now 20kg! And Dixie is only 12.5 :)

I'm not telling how heavy I am  Lol :D

I put there front feet on first then folded the back legs so they were sitting and told them to stay. Dave's feet kept sliding off he was a bit big, but he managed to stay on long enough for the scales to get a reading :D Lol
I'm going to weigh my cats now. Lol!

Yeah, we weighed Dave a few weeks ago to see how much it was going to be to get him neutered and he as 18.6kg then.
Dixie was weighed before she was spayed but I didn't see it, they just wighed her before she was done.

But our vet is a 20 minute bus trip and its a bit much hassle just to weigh them :)

I might weigh the cat box first then put a cat in and see the difference!

Yeah, I got to that stage myself, so that's when I decided to do something about it. Now, I have a pair of jeans that I used to wear when I was skinny a few years ago & I almost fit into them! Couple more kgs to go! My oh always moaned at me for holding onto them the last few years & I said "one day I'll fit into them again" & he made the "mmm, yeah" face! Now, in his face!!! lol:001_tt2:

I bought the Walk With Me thingy for the Nintendo DS a while ago & basically it's a glorified pedometer (that cost me €50!). But it lets you pick your daily walking step target & I've become totally obsessed with reaching it, so that's kind of a bad thing, but it's good too, coz it means I'm walking more. Just wish I hadn't paid so much for it! I thought it would do more than that at the time!!! lol:blushing:
