My house had pre-metres costing a bloody fortune to keep it topped up but at least I don't have a BIG Bill to worry about It costs more in the long run though.

I've had mine on 24 hours a day since October  This house has very high ceilings and pathetic radiators that mean if you turn it off for even an hour it simply doesn't warm the house back up again! Costs an absolute fortune!!! Very glad to be moving to a warmer property :)

I have had heating on all year round!!:D Annoyingly if I dont keep my back bedroom and bathroom abit warm then everything gets covered in mould and damp.:(
As for the rest of the house I am managing with just an electric fire in one room (where my pooter and the snakes live!!):D. As long as me and the dogs have a duvet to get under then we stay warm.:)

And that's the trouble with being a housebound pensioner...The bills finish up double those of folks that are at work all day.
