Just had a great walk with Bess. Nowhere special, just roung the country roads and across a few fields, but Bess was walking on a loose lead most of the time - even with the flexi extended! I did get my arm pulled out of the socket once when a bird flew out of the hedgerow whilst we were going across a field, but that was all.
It's really strange. I've been trying to get her to heel, or to walk close, but she doesn't respond to either.
By accident I said 'don't pull' when she was pulling in front, and she came back a bit. So okay, every few steps I was saying 'don't pull' just before she did, but the times I had to say it got less.
I don't mind that she's picked up on that command, nor that she walks a little in front, just as long as she's not constantly trying to drag me along!
It mad for a very pleasant, enjoyable walk! :thumbup1:
