I just got my summer exam results back, and they were o,k, but not good enough! :( Here are some results, well the ones i am doing for my GCSE's

    1) English language - 76%
    2)Chemistry - 65%
    3) Biology - 67%
    4) Maths - 60%, the most gutting of the results! :(
    5) I.T - 81%
    6) Drama - 75%
    7)Spanish - 70%
    8) Geography - 76%

Im quite dissapointed with some of the results, im not really sure if there good enough for my parents to allow for me to get a dog! :( Well i can only hope....

    Thanks

They did say that they were happy, but the reason why my exam results werent as good as they could have been was because in class i tend to be "the class clown" and i dont really concentrate, so next year i ahve to nuckle down, and my parents are taking away my Xbox 360 in the week days, so i can concentrate on school, which i think is fair enough! I hope i get my dog to, but would only be getting it at christmas time, when i get back from my holiday, so the poor dog doesnt have to go into the kenels for a month! :D:D

I'm sure your parents are looking at your change of commitment as well, don't get disheartened, the results don't look bad.
Keep up the good work and I'm sure you will be rewarded :)
Could you have another chat with your parents?

Thank you! :D Yer i probaly could, but at christmas time, i have more exams, so if i do better in those, then im sure that dog will be mine! My parents just want me to work at the best of my ability, so i will try extra hard next term and revise harder for the exams, just for the dog! :D:D:D
    Thanks again...

You'll be fine. 60% at year 9? Imagine how much you can raise that percentage in two years :p

You have done really well, isn't that A's and B's? As for the maths, you can easily brush up, it's something that'll get better as time goes on.

When you start year 10 you'll be able to concentrate on your chosen subjects so you should find it easier to focus, and also you should enjoy them all more! That'll help your results!

You seem a very able and intelligent young man, you know what you want and you know what you have to do to get it. I'd say that gives you a big head start!! :D :D :D
