Yay, fellow race for lifers! :D

I've been training for a while now- it's so much harder than I thought it would be but I'm enjoying it. My leisure centre is putting on free training nights every week now until the race. (July 17th for me) First one was on wednesday and it was brilliant, showed me where I was going wrong.

I got my sports bra from M&S, (I am a larger size) it was £18 but nothing moves-it's fab!lol

My best advice would be invest in some really good running trainers. I just bought some normal ones to begin with costing about £40 and I have been in pain but didn't realise they were causing it. I've been assessed properly now for my gait and running technique & splashed out on new trainers & it's made a huge difference.

Good luck everyone, it's for an amazing charity.:D

July 17th. The track that I am training on is in a teeny tiny part of the racecourse that I will be running round- just over 3 times! It's very daunting but I'm pretty determined. Good luck with yours.
