Jenny is a 1 year old greyhound girl who has not made the grade as a racer. She has a soft chocolate brown coat that will likely turn slowly black as she ages and gains in condition.

Jenny is sadly a timid little girlie and is very submissive. She was bullied by the other pups in her litter, and as a result she is shy and retiring by nature. She has huge potential to come out of her shell and be a little cracker of a dog with some TLC and work on building her confidence.

Jenny would do very well in a quiet home with an older but not overly dominant dog who's lead she could follow and learn from. She has not shown an ounce of aggression and is merely overly submissive and timid. Jenny has never been in a home before, so new owners will need to be patient and understanding and allow her to settle in at her own pace. It is likely Jenny will be nervous and unsure when she first arrives, but we're sure that after a few days her little character will start to poke through. She is just a young dog and has her whole life ahead of her to learn about squeaky toys and soft sofas.

Jenny has not been cat tested yet, but we think she may be cat trainable. This will be tested thoroughly before we deem her as safe to live with cats, however.

Jenny is currently being kept in Dublin, Ireland, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. She will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting this little sweetie, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our information pack and adoption questionnaire which must be filled out prior to adoption. Thanks!

Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 40 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.

Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.

We can be contacted via PM or through any of the following:
