With the dreaded swine flu :(

Hight temperature, sore throat, aching limbs, tiredness, headache, the runs

OH phoned an out of hours GP who rang us back and confirmed it over the phone. He gave him a reference number but seeing as he doesn't drive I've just rung my best friend to pick up the tammi flu for me.

    Not happy :(

You actually only have to tick two boxes and they are now dishing out tamiflu to anyone.
Even a cough and a sore throat are counted which is ridiculous.
Now they are not testing it is dubious how many people actually have swine flu or just have a bug.
My mum had it when they were still testing and was very very ill for 10 days not helped by being diabetic.
Hope you feel better soon xx

Hope you feel better soon! The tamiflu should help it hopefully :D I've had the symptoms of swine flu just about all my life so I'm not too sure if I'll know if I have it or not :p My asthma was worse the other week plus other symptoms were worse so I might of had it but mild. Still trying to not worry about it too much because I think the media has made it sound worse than it is.

Thanks everyone. Feel like I've been thrown off a cliff and stamped on. It's much worse than ordinary flu feeling wise I think.

Tammi flu is just capsules you take.

Whether I 'actually' have swine flu or not because a doctor diagnosed it over the phone I don't care. I feel bloody rotten and I need something done about it because I have asthma.

I hope you feel better soon!

I think they should at least be conducting home visits to take swabs so they can diagnoise correctly. I mean, how many bugs are out there at the moment that are like swine flu?

Here's a little something to cheer you up. I was shopping in Sainsburys with my 3 year old when she sneezed. After I wiped her nose she asked me, 'Mummy, do I have swine flu?'
