i've had a yogurt, I always shared mine with Dillon and I haven't been able to face one since he leave us, but when I did my on-line shopping I ordered a few and I just managed to have one. Still felt like crying not been able to share it with him.:(

They really get under your skin even when they aren't here anymore.:(

I miss Suzie the most in the mornings when eating my toast, she always sat next to me and looked at me with her melting brown eyes, waiting patiently for the last corner of crust. In an evening it's Belle getting under foot while cooking the meal, I still check she isn't behind me.

Lily used to lick the ice cream bowl she would sit and wait with her little face on my knee.

When I lost my childhood dog it took a long time before I could eat an apple or a sandwich without feeling sad, he used to get the apple core or the last bit of sandwich. I still miss him now and we lost him 18 years ago.

Lily the greyhound managed to eat a whole pizza when my sister popped out of the room to get a drink, all she left were some slices of cucumber

My boxer from teenhood, Pudsey, used to drool on my feet while I ate, he'd then shake it all over the room , I loved him sooo much.

Both sad and nice to hear stories of your past dogs.

    It’s the little things......
I’d be the same. Heidi has a spoonful for breakfast every day and as I make my own, cleans the jar when it’s empty.
I know I’m going to be heartbroken but I hadn’t given the yogurt a thought - until now.
They’re such a big part of our lives. Much bigger than we realise when they’re here.

    I can’t believe it’s been 4 years.
You used to post pictures of Alfie nearly every day.
Always super happy, loving life (and he had the best) bless him.

Daisy gone 4 years next week & I still say goodnight to her picture every night.

But aren't we all the lucky ones to have those memories even if they make us cry!
