My rough collie has been licking her bottom and making it around the area, red. I'm wondering if it could be worms?

A while back I think. Mind you it wont hurt to worm her. She does have a naughty habit of eating my indoor cat's poo, charming girl

I would definitely worm her if you're not sure when she was last wormed.
But also could possibly be her anal glands.
Might be worth getting those checked as well. :).

Worms do not really cause irritation unless there is something you can specifically see stuck on there. Far more likely to be anal glands, so a trip to the vet to get them emptied is in order.

I heard some years ago that carrot juice was supposed to be good for the anal glands thats if you can get it down them

some dogs just suffer with blocked anal glands and need them emptying regularly, with some it is just a one off. A bit of extra fibre might help but not sure whether a juice would.
