My sister has recieved a letter from Great Olmond Street today. It says she owes £5000 and its been outstanding 90+ days and is going to bayliffs.

The number on the letter is different to the number on the website but does say its finance department.

My sister has never been in a hospital never mind owe money for god knows what!!!

The letter looks quite proffessional. Anyone heard of this kind of thing being a scam???

Did a quick google search - nothing.
I'd ring the hospital, ask for the finance department - they might want you to send them a copy of the letter, if it is a scam (which is sounds probable) then they'll probably want to look into it.

Just Googled Great Olmond Street hospital and it wouldn't let me, it would only come up as Great Ormand street. It sounds like a really nasty scam! If I were you I'd take it to the police, and they will know if it's doing the rounds.

But it didn't give a company name.. So i looked up what it said and this is
Cisco Unity Connection - Products & Services - Cisco Systems

Just a voicemail machine for people to pick up messages remotely.. I wouldn't leave any personal details on it if I were you.. :)
