Air Canada has announced recently that passengers with dogs or cats will be allowed to take them on board as hand luggage.

Personally I feel , its a very good thing coz we then don't miss our pets so much as they are with us while travelling overseas.

    Do Share your thoughts folks...

    Cheers
    Britney.

As long as the pet is secure, from the safety aspect, then I think it's a good idea.
It will save a lot of anxiety both to the owner and the pet

I think yes as long as they're small enough to travel safely as hand luggage. You couldn't for example have an IW travel as hand luggage.

Would love to have Molly in the cabin with me...would make it much easier visiting my parents.

But I wouldn't like to be sitting next to someone else's unruly pet.

    Pro's and con's!:)

With the few other airlines that allow it they have to be in the carriers at all times. I would love it but under those rules only Damien would be allowed on with us.
